NEXAMITE® R202: MFR-increasing reactive masterbatch for rPP
Better filling in flow-limited rPP applications
NEXAMITE® R202 is a reactive masterbatch used to increase melt flow rate (MFR) in recycled polypropylene. It targets improved processability particularly in applications where low flow limits mould filling or long flow paths.
Nexam Chemical states that R202 is offered at different activity levels: R202-1 has approximately 5%, R202-2 approximately 10% and R202-4 approximately 20% peroxide activity. The appropriate grade and addition level must be selected through technical assessment.

Technical assessment note
Do not present the peroxide activity percentages as ‘product dosage’. These are the activity levels of the R202 variants. Grade selection must be validated together with starting/target MFR, temperature–time history, final mechanical properties and odour/colour requirements.
