NEXAMITE® M992000: linear IV enhancer for PET filament, fiber and strapping
Turn IV increase into mechanical performance
NEXAMITE® M992000 is a linear IV enhancer designed for continuous filament, textile yarn, technical fiber and PET strapping applications. In these applications it is not only IV increase that matters, but also preserving tenacity, elongation and drawing behaviour.
The reactive masterbatch approach supports linear chain extension in the PET/rPET melt. Nexam Chemical states that the product is compatible with existing PET fiber lines and helps improve spinning stability, tenacity and drawing performance.

Technical assessment note
Do not evaluate filament or strapping performance on IV alone. Starting IV, feedstock source, drying, spinning/drawing conditions and target tenacity–elongation values must be considered together. In foam applications the combination role of M992000 requires separate recipe validation.
